About the Giving Campaign

For many years, Sacramento County Employees have generously participated in the annual Employee Giving Campaign. This year’s theme, “Sacramento County Opens Hearts”, highlights the generosity and concern that employees show when they support the causes that improve the quality of life in their local communities and the world around them.

Where You Can Donate

There are five Federations of charitable organizations represented in this year’s campaign. Sacramento County Programs and numerous non-profit organizations are also in need of your support.

For a list of all the national and international organizations that are accepting donations, please reference the Employee Giving Campaign Brochure.

Employees may participate in the campaign by making an ongoing contribution through payroll deductions or a one-time contribution using a debit or credit card.

Help us reach our goals to raise $300,000 in contributions and attain at least 25% employee participation.

Employee Giving Campaign is Paperless

Donations can be made online through Giving Matters 365 (replacing e-pledge). Follow the simple steps in the online pledge Instructions or view the tutorial.

No paper pledge forms will be accepted. The Brochure is available online on the Employee Giving Campaign Internet or Intranet sites. No brochures will be distributed.

Please contact your Department Chair if you are having difficulty accessing GM365 or the EGC brochure.

Campaign Events

The County of Sacramento is sponsoring a 5K Race at Discovery Park on Thursday, October 5th to highlight the Employee Giving Campaign.

Department teams will be seeking your support and sponsorship to raise money for the causes that touch your heart. For more information see the Race web page.

We look forward to making this the most successful campaign yet!
