On Thursday, September 26, search the bargain treasures at the County’s version of a garage sale. Likely it will be the largest and the best deals you have ever seen. Televisions, office furniture, cases of janitorial supplies, copy paper and office supplies are just some of the great items you will find from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., at 9650 Goethe Road in Sacramento.
As the County streamlines operations, the items that are no longer needed are sent to County Surplus where these quarterly warehouse sales are hosted to keep the items from piling up. The prices can’t be beat when sturdy metal filing cabinets are as low as $5 per drawer, office chairs can be found for $5 and televisions are just a dollar per screen inch!
Vehicles and other large equipment valued at $500 or more are sold online through publicsurplus.com and is a free service for the public to buy these types of surplus items.
All items at Thursday’s sale will be sold on a “cash and carry” basis and are sold “as is and where is.” This means credit and debit cards are not accepted, the items must be taken at the time of purchase and everything is sold as is.
No reservations or appointments are necessary and the surplus sale will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sacramento County Branch Services warehouse building, 9650 Goethe Rd.
