Sacramento County will present the 12th annual California Capital Airshow Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9-10 at Mather Airport. This year’s event features the Patriots Jet Team as its headlining act. The six-jet, precision demonstration team features pilots who were formerly part of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Navy Blue Angels and Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds.

In addition to the Patriots Jet team, the show will feature U.S. Navy F-18 tactical demonstrations, U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight starring the A-10 Thunderbolt II, world-class aerobatics, barnstorming, warbirds and much more.
On the ground, the Airshow will feature aircraft displays for attendees to explore, opportunities to interact with pilots and crewmembers and experience attractions and interactive educational exhibits designed to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
