Sacramento County is holding a drawing for four free tickets to the California Capital Airshow.  These four tickets, worth $80, will get you into the air show on October 5 or 6 for free. 

How Do You Enter the Drawing?

First time subscribers to the Sacramento County News email alerts will be entered into the drawing. To enter, simply click this Sacramento County News link to sign up for email alerts by typing your email address and clicking submit.  You will be automatically entered to win. 

An email address will be randomly drawn, on Monday, September 30, and the recipient will be notified by email. Tickets must be picked up at the County Administration building (700 H Street, Room 7650) before 4 p.m., Friday, October 4. 

About the Airshow:

The eighth annual California Capital Airshow will feature the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds flying nine jets in world class aerobatic jet demonstrations.  The show also hosts the Bremont Horseman, aerobatic champions and flying demonstrations and a variety of other exhibits.  There will be vintage planes, interactive displays and a kid’s zone, equipped with educational exhibits, jump houses and more.  There will even be a jet powered school bus and out house!

About the Drawing:

  • Participants may enter the drawing from noon Wednesday, September 18 to noon Friday, September 27.
  • Participants must be first time subscribers to Sacramento County News email alerts.
  • One email address will be drawn to receive four (4) tickets.
  • The recipient will be notified by the email address provided on Monday, September 30, by 4 p.m.
  • Tickets must be picked up at 700 H Street, Room 7650 by 4 p.m., on October 4. After such time they will be forfeited.
  • Good for one time only and no cash substitutions for tickets

Sacramento County is giving these tickets away to increase the number of subscribers to the County’s news and spread the word about the SacCountyNews website and subscription service.  Subscribers to this site will receive the latest news about programs, services and events.  The email delivery frequency can be set to immediate, daily or weekly and subscription topics can be added or removed.  Subscribers may delete their subscription at any time and email addresses will only be used to deliver Sacramento County information.
