When/Where: From Friday, June 10 at 9 p.m. until Saturday, June 11 at 6 a.m., motorists on Sunrise Boulevard at Gold Country Boulevard will experience traffic restrictions and delays. The traffic signal at this intersection needs to be turned off overnight for repair work. When the traffic signal is turned-off, the intersection will operate with all-way stop control.
Increased Travel Time & Detours: Motorists are being advised of major delays with up to 30 minute wait times at the intersection. Roadway users are advised to use alternative routes until the traffic restriction period is over. The closure will impact all northbound and southbound traffic on Sunrise Boulevard. Gold Country Boulevard will be closed to traffic just east of Sunrise Boulevard. This traffic will be detoured to Gold Express Drive via Gold Rush Drive.
Closure Period: Sacramento County and the City of Rancho Cordova understand the challenges and inconveniences that motorists will experience during the overnight temporary traffic restriction period, and asks for the public’s patience and cooperation as we work to repair the traffic signal.
