Sacramento County's Customized E-mail Subscription Web Service - This free electronic subscription service, SacCounty News, allows you to receive notifications by e-mail or text message alerting you to newly available information. You get updates on the items of interest automatically without having to return to the website.

This service, also has messaging specifically for wireless devices (text message-enabled phones, pagers, PDA devices, etc.) Look for the Wireless Alert icon that indicates information is available in this shortened format.

To receive information from Sacramento County, go to the SacCounty News sign-up page, enter your e-mail address, and choose from the list of subscription topics. While there, you may also sign up to receive wireless alerts on topics where the wireless icon is indicated. To register a cell phone, enter your phone number and select your wireless carriers from the list provided.

You can access your Subscriber Preference at any time to change your e-mail address, modify your password, delete subscriptions, or remove your e-mail address from this service.
