As the Certified Unified Program Agency, the Environmental Compliance Division is responsible for the implementation of six statewide environmental programs for Sacramento County. These include: Underground storage of hazardous substances (USTs); Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMP) requirements; Hazardous Waste Generator requirements; California Accidental Release Prevention (Cal-ARP) program; Uniform Fire Code hazardous materials management plan; Above Ground Storage Tanks (Spill Prevention Control; and Countermeasures Plan only).
